Johnson and Johnson

CMNH, in partnership with the Wellbeing Foundation (WBF), will develop a messaging toolkit that draws attention to the benefits of the delivery of the “skills and drills” training package for EmONC in four LGAs in Kwara State in Nigeria, funded by Johnson & Johnson.

In order to motivate health care providers trained in EmONC to retain and improve their skills, as well as to increase pregnant women’s trust in health care providers, 120 pocket books of EmONC protocols will be produced and distributed to health care providers. This pocket book will contain one page with the core modules of EOC&NC training received and the date when they were received. This will facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of the number of health care providers trained in EmONC in each facility. In addition,150 pins mentioning “Confirmed to Be Trained in Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care” will be produced and distributed to trained health care workers.
